Horses, picnics, and craft beer… yes, the newest addition to Monmouth Park is its very own biergarten courtesy of Blu Grotto!
You may know Monmouth Park for its high caliber horse racing (it is the “shore’s greatest stretch) and family fun activities, but starting this weekend, it’ll also be home to the Jersey Shore’s newest biergarten. Craft beer enthusiasts are invited to join in the fun at the grand opening of Blu Grotto’s Beer Garden, an Italian restaurant located on the same property as Monmouth Park, which turns out to also have some German flair.
The 2017 racing season has already proven itself to be one of a kind, with a Jersey Shore Food Truck festival that brought the best of the trucks right to your finger tips and activities that even impressed your mom. Now, with the opening of Blu Grotto’s Beer Garden, it’s guaranteed to be a season like no other.
On Thursday, June 1st, the Beer Garden will let 20 taps flow. Open every weekend from Thursday to Sunday, guests are invited to swing back some cold ones all while enjoying live entertainment and delicious menu items including gourmet bar pies, grilled garlic shrimp, a raw bar, and a mozzarella bar every night of the (long) weekend.
Sit outside on the many decks overlooking the grounds as you sip your way through one, two, or three beers from breweries around the world. Along with the familiar sounds of galloping horses, the Beer Garden at Blu Grotto will also feature the tunes of local artists including the Pat Guadagno Band, Bob Pinto Duo, and the Ferrymen. Just one of many reasons you’ll be tapping your foot well into the evening.
