It’s about to be that time of year again, when invitations to events and parties start to roll in. One invitation that you definitely don’t want to pass up is the first Red Bank Holiday Soirée that will be held by the Red Bank Business Alliance on Thursday, November 17th at 6:00pm at the iconic Molly Pitcher Inn. Why is that? Well, we’re happy you asked because this one night event is about to set the tone for the upcoming holiday season.
The Red Bank Holiday Soirée will feature the best of what “red hot” Red Bank has to offer. From where to shop, dine, play, and reside, Red Bank is a premier destination at the Jersey Shore and it’s time for a night that celebrates its businesses. It’s a chance for you to get a first hand “Red Bank Experience” all in one night. Whether you’re new to Red Bank or a seasoned visitor or resident, you’re bound to discover new restaurants, eclectic shops, and not-to-miss events.
Set on the picturesque Navesink River, the evening will not just be an opportunity to get to know some of the town’s businesses, but you’ll also be supporting the Red Bank community, including two local charities as 100% of all ticket sales and all the proceeds to the event will be donated to Jason’s Dreams for Kids and Clean Ocean Action for the Navesink River.
You’re guaranteed to feel good about your night out, especially when 100% of the proceeds are going to two local charities . Devoted to granting wishes to children diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses, Jason’s Dreams for Kids has been bringing happiness and putting smiles on children’s faces (and their parents) for years. It’s night of making dreams come true and passing smiles along to those who need it most. (Learn more about Clean Ocean Action for the Navesink River in Part II of our breakdown of The Red Bank Holiday Soirée coming next week!)
Lucky attendees will enjoy complimentary cocktail tastings and menu samplings from some of the hottest Red Bank restaurants and bars. From The Downtown and Dish to Toast and The Belmonte, you’re bound to find something new to try. Get to know what’s been bringing in diners for years at some of Red Bank’s most well known establishments.
Whether you’re sitting outside eating fresh lobster (aka lob-stah!) with owner Kelly Ryan at The Boondocks Fishery in the summer months; feasting on Asian-fusion delicacies and cocktails from Teak, or finding your fortune of Chinese delights at Temple Gourmet Chinese, there’s no telling what restaurant will become your favorite after this night out in Red Bank. Other guests will include cheese monger Stephen Catania of The Cheese Cave who will surely being bringing along wonderfully paired cheeses for the event.
What about the drinks? Don’t worry, these Red Bank restaurants are no strangers to getting the night started with a cocktail. We’re looking forward to up and comers Asbury Park Brewery and Jerry’s Vodka, and the classic Tasting Room, but the Cocktail Caravan may steal the show as Monmouth County’s first mobile bar, perfect for your next party.
If it’s sugar you’re craving, you’re in for a treat. Attendees will satisfy their sweet tooth with sugary concoctions from Sugarush for house made cupcakes; perfectly thin crepes with all the fixings from Whipped; and every French baked good you could imagine from Red Bank’s very own Antoinette Boulangerie. You’ll also have chance to get your chocolate on (and coffee – because they go together) at Chocolate Works, Red Bank Chocolate Shoppe, and Coffee Afficionado.
Not just known for great food, Red Bank is also home to unique shops including Sweetest Sin Boutique (for all your lingerie needs), fashion forward Madison Boutique, and equally fashion forward handcrafted jewelry from Poor Cat Designs. Not to worry, Coco Pari, Garmany, The Bee, and Red Ginger will also be making fashionable appearances.
Get to know some of Red Bank’s other businesses. Whether you’re planning a wedding with John Arcara Photography and Espoused Events, getting fit at Renaissance Pilates, painting pottery at A Time to Kiln, or getting your hair done at one of Red Bank’s hippest salons, Hudson & Canal, there’s something new for everyone. (Stay tuned for Part II of our breakdown of The Red Bank Holiday Soiree coming next week as even more sponsors sign up!)
Now it’s time to mark your calendars for a memorable night packed with Red Bank’s best food, music, and entertainment (auctions too) brought to you by The Red Bank Business Alliance, The Red Bank River Center, the Red Bank Borough Council, and residents. Reserve your spot today to witness an evening filled with Red Bank’s brightest stars. Individual tickets are $75 ticket with all proceeds directly benefiting Jason’s Dreams for Kids and Clean Ocean Action for the Navesink River.
